Peas Pulao
Peas Pulao is the easiest as well as tastiest rice variety that you can make when you are in hurry !!! At the same time everyone enjoys the nice taste and aroma of this...and here you go...
Ingredients:
Basmati Rice - 250gms
Peas - 200gms
Carrot - 1 (medium size)
Green Chilies - 5 (Slice them into long halves)
Jeera/Cumin Seeds - 2tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste -1tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1tsp
Water - 500ml
Butter/Oil - 50gms
Salt - 1tbsp
Method:
- Wash rice first and soak it for 10min.
- Peel and chop the carrot into small pieces.
- Now heat the pressure cooker and add butter.
- Once the butter starts melting add Jeera/cumin seeds first.
- Then add carrot, green peas and sliced green chilies and sauté.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and garam masala and again sauté it.
- Now add salt to mixture and sauté.
- Drain the water from the rice and add it the above mixture and stir it for 1min.
- Add water to the mixed rice and cover the lid.
- Wait for 3whistles and then turn off the stove.
- Wait until the pressure goes off.
- Now open the lid and mix it for 2 to 3 times and then take it into a bowl.
- And the tastiest and easiest peas pulao is ready to serve.
- You can either serve it directly or with Onion Raitha. Anyways it tastes Delicious !!!
