Ingredients:
- Carrots -- 500 gm(grated)
- Milk -- 750 ml
- Sugar -- 150 gm
- Butter/Ghee -- 10 gm
- Cashew Nuts -- 10 pieces
- Almonds -- 10 pieces
- Raisins -- 10 pieces
- Cardamom -- 2 pieces
Method:

Wash and peel the carrots and then grate it with grater. For better texture I use the larger side of the grater.

Take the butter/ghee in a pan and let it melt for 1min.
Step 3:
Now add almonds (badam) and cashew nuts to the melted butter/ghee and fry for 2min and keep aside.
Step 4:
Add the grated carrot to the same pan and fry till the raw smell goes off (it takes approximately 5min).

Now add the milk to the fried carrot and mix well. Let it cook for approximately 30min till all the milk evaporates.
Step 6:
Once all the milk evaporates add sugar and cardamom powder.
Step 7:
After 10min of adding sugar, halwa starts coming together.
Step 8:
Once it becomes thick remove from the flame and take it into a bowl and garnish with the fried almonds, cashews. Serve hot and delicious Carrot Halwa.
